Welcome to Kitty's Kavern (my personal space)

I never thought I would see the day when I would be sitting in front of a computer trying to decide what to write about. I find it really hard to talk about myself so if you bare with me I will give it a shot.

My name is Kathleen, as stated in my profile; but most of my friends call me by my nic name, Kitty. I am a full time student, attending Marconie Campus, NSCC as an ALP (Adult Learners Program) in hopes of obtaining my Grade 12 diploma. After I graduate I would like to take an Information Technology course, of course, also at the college.

My home is in Sydney, Nova Scotia where I reside with my 27 year old son, Jonathan. Cape Breton Island is a wonderful place to live and has some beautiful scenery especially now that spring is here. Everything is waking up and coming to life now that the long winter sleep has ended. I posted some pictures that I found of Cape Breton that you might enjoy.

I am an avid animal and nature lover, however my favorite animal is the cat. Whether it is of the domestic variety or a cat of the wild, they are all magnificent creatures. They are strong, highly intelligent, extremely independent, graceful, fast and beautiful. But that is only one opinion; I am sure that there are many different opinions to be shared. If you would care to write a comment on this or any other blog I would love to hear from you.

I hope I haven't bored you too much with this introduction, I tend to get long winded when I am writing. In reality I am very quiet and with the exception of my son I say very little to anyone. I have no trouble, however, writing my thoughts out and would enjoy sharing them with you. Once again:  Welcome to Kitty's Kavern and I hope you enjoy you visit.
